Carrie Fox
Carrie Fox brings a smart and savvy approach to public affairs. Incorporating her knowledge of strategic positioning and corporate communications, she provides clients with integrated public relations and marketing strategies to raise awareness, influence public opinion, or re-launch an existing brand -- each time with a unique and compelling public affairs strategy.
Fox has provided account management and strategic communications counsel, in addition to media relations and crisis management services, to a variety of high-profile clients including a nationally recognized children's hospital, a non-profit credit counseling agency and a variety of national non-profit organizations.
Earlier in her career, Fox was director of communications for Ripken Baseball, LLC, which was founded to manage Cal Ripken Jr.'s many efforts, including his nationally-recognized youth baseball initiative. Fox managed corporate and strategic communications, branding and positioning efforts for Ripken Baseball, including the launch of Ripken's minor league stadium and youth baseball academy in Aberdeen, Md. She worked closely with the White House in 2002 to plan and produce President Bush's Tee-Ball initiative, in which Ripken acted as commissioner of the South Lawn's Tee-Ball "league."
Before joining Ripken Baseball, Fox spent time at Seventeen Magazine, as well as several public relations firms in northern New Jersey, where her clients included healthcare and pharmaceutical companies and non-profit organizations.
Fox holds a degree in communications and public relations from Loyola College in Baltimore, Md. While at Loyola, she was elected to the position of Student Government Association President, making her the first woman in the college's history to hold the position.
