Craig James
Craig James is a corporate communications consultant with more than 20 years experience providing strategic counsel and developing persuasive communication in political, public affairs and corporate communications campaigns. He has worked closely with principals of Prism Public Affairs for more than a decade.
James is founder and former president of The Powell Tate Advertising Group (PTAG), which specialized in print and broadcast public affairs advertising and Internet advocacy campaigns. Prior to founding PTAG, he was senior vice president of Bozell Eskew, the advocacy advertising subsidiary of Robinson Lake Sawyer Miller.
James has developed and managed large-scale corporate communications, advertising and advocacy campaigns for a range of clients in a variety of industries. He has extensive experience developing persuasive messages and driving them through materials and events that advance a client’s communications goals.
James was formerly a vice president in the political media firms of Squier-Eskew Communications and Grunwald, Eskew & Donilon. He has developed media strategies and produced advertising for a variety of political candidates and causes, domestically and internationally.
James has a B.A. from Swarthmore College and an M.A. in Communications from the University of Maryland.
