Gregg Perry
Managing Director, Prism New England
Gregg Perry oversees New England operations for Prism Public Affairs from Prism's regional headquarters in Providence, R.I. He provides senior level counsel, media relations, writing and account management services, and is responsible for new business development across New England.
Perry is a seasoned communicator with a diverse background in broadcast journalism, state and federal government, and corporate public affairs. Since 2002, he has provided senior counsel, message development, strategy and media relations for several Fortune 500 companies involved in litigation with the State of Rhode Island. He conducts media training programs both in Washington and New England. For many years he has provided strategic counsel and served as an on-the-record spokesman for one of the nation's largest multi-family housing companies.
Earlier in his career, Perry served as chief spokesman for Republican Rhode Island Attorney General Jeffrey B. Pine. Perry was the principal media contact and communications officer for all criminal prosecutions and civil litigation pursued by the State of Rhode Island. Perry also worked as communications director to U.S. Rep. Robert Weygand, (D-R.I.). In 1999, he joined the largest independent-owned advertising and public relations agency in New England, serving as vice president-public relations until 2005.
Perry began his career as a broadcast journalist in Connecticut and held on-air positions for more than 10 years in Boston and Providence, R.I. He is the recipient of the Publicity Club of New England's Bell Ringer Award for Public Affairs, and was named by the
Providence Business News to its inaugural list of "40 Under 40" Influential Professionals in 2005.
