Jessica Boulanger

Jessica Boulanger joined Prism Public Affairs from the National Republican Congressional Committee where she served as communications director, overseeing a highly aggressive earned media operation that shaped press coverage in battleground House races nationwide.

Boulanger provides strategic counsel for clients in the areas of public policy, issues management, crisis communications, and litigation and legislative support. Boulanger works closely with clients in strategic planning, message development, spokesperson training, and in tailoring strategic communications plans to support clients' specific goals. Her relationships with print, radio and television journalists, as well as key online opinion leaders, provide clients with high-level media relations support.

While on Capitol Hill, Boulanger held several senior positions including long-time spokeswoman for Republican Whip Roy Blunt (Mo.) and over the last decade was instrumental in developing media strategy for House Republicans during numerous leadership races, multiple election cycles, and key legislative initiatives including taxes, trade, healthcare, energy and defense.

Boulanger led the communications effort for Progress for America during Supreme Court confirmation battles for Chief Justice John Roberts and Associate Justice Samuel Alito. She also served as a regional press secretary for the Republican National Committee (RNC), and her work on Capitol Hill includes the leadership offices of former Majority Whip Tom DeLay (Texas) and former Republican Conference Chairman Deborah Pryce (Ohio). Boulanger began her communications career at a leading public relations firm in New York City responsible for handling multiple high profile corporate communications assignments, including the Time Warner-AOL merger.
