Liza Tanner
Liza Tanner is an accomplished public affairs professional with experience in implementing communications strategies for clients in a variety of industries, from defense to entertainment.
Tanner has played a key role in coordinating a successful coalition-based campaign to modify defense procurement legislation for the submarine industry. Her responsibilities include advocacy materials development, legislative and media outreach, and event coordination.
Prior to joining Prism Public Affairs, Tanner worked at Atlanta-based William Mills Agency, a firm that represents small to mid-size financial services companies. Tanner designed and implemented strategic public relations campaigns for check processing, loan origination, and bank software companies. She developed written materials, secured coverage in prominent industry media, and worked on the re-branding of a mortgage fraud prevention software company.
Tanner began her career as an event planner at the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C.
